Black Diamond French Truffles, Inc is currently renovating a historic
barn and farmhouse as well as several outbuildings on the truffiere property. The original
design and architecture will be fused into modern functioning facilities that will serve
operations of the company. Our goal is to incorporate the heritage of the southern rustic
rural farm with the culture and history of the European farmed truffle. Facilities will
handle cleaning, drying, refrigeration, packaging, and distribution of the truffles.
We will also be adding a large kitchen for cooking classes,
a truffle tasting room, restaurant, library, and cozy sitting rooms for visitors to
enjoy. A cabin nestled deep within the grounds of our tree stewardship land, is
undergoing remodeling and will be available for overnight stays and visits to our
truffiere. Tours and tastings are expected to begin in the summer of 2008.
